Irawo provides a family atmosphere for university students in Ibadan. Irawo's family-style living arrangement is oriented towards helping student residents mature into professionals who will be profoundly dedicated to the service of their families and communities.
Dedicated quiet spaces are provided to allow residents to concentrate on their studies. Residents eat meals together, spend time after dinner in lively conversation, and enjoy celebrating birthdays and other significant moments. Residents have full-time access to the library, sporting facilities, and chapel for quiet times of prayer and daily Mass.
Since inception in 1969, Irawo University Centre has blazed the trail in the academic performance of her residents. In the 25 years to 2015, 260 residents lived on the permanent site.

Academic Outcome
Irawo has a tradition of churning out first-class students. The minimum grade to stay in Irawo is a second-class lower.
Family Atmosphere
Life in the residence is geared towards raising matured men who will be of service to society in their chosen professional fields.
Chapel
Guided prayer and Benediction held by 6pm every Saturday. Holy Mass is said at 6:45am. Recollections for young professionals hold every 3rd Sunday of the month; retreats fixed on demand.
Library
Irawo provides library services to its residents, students, and anybody else interested — a serene atmosphere of intense study. Open daily from 10am till 8:30pm.
Sports Arena
Residents organise a 5-a-side Irawo league every Sunday evening; the boys' club also plays there on Saturday afternoons. Human virtues are nurtured even while competing.
Orisun School of Hospitality
Irawo partners with the Orisun School of Hospitality for essential housekeeping services — ensuring quality meals, celebrating birthdays and accomplishments, and managing the laundry.
